A review of the “Incredible” Fujifilm X-E3
Ted Forbes from “The Art of Photography” reviews the X-E3 as an excellent camera, with the same image quality as the X-Pro2, but with the attractive of being way under the 1000$ limit price.
Fujifilm X-E3 was launched in September, last year, packing the latest 24MP X-Trans sensor, a sophisticated 325 autofocus point system with new AF areas, a touch-screen and 4K video capabilities.
The X-E series was highly appreciated by Fujifilm enthusiasts – they even feared that it might be discontinued; until the X-E3 arrived, with an even more compact body. Some photographers love its smaller size, as people started to question the unnatural tendency for manufacturers to build bigger mirrorless cameras, where the main philosophy was “smaller and lighter”, but some will think a smaller X-E model will affect the ergonomics and operating speed. The best part is that almost nobody questions its competence, as explained in this video.
