Tomić Dalibor: How Fuji enhance my passion for photography

I was Canon shooter for 4 years, I have a 5DmkIII and my prime 85L f1.2 for portraits. Yes my passion is in portrait photography and obsession for quality of light.

When I first discovered photos taken with Fuji on flicker my interest grown quickly. So I did my research, sold my Canon gear and bought a XT-1 body with 18-55 lens and 56 APD for portraits.

My first reaction when I tried to process first portrait is WOW, it feels like I have again 5D mkIII but with more dynamic range. It is amazing what Fuji did with this X series.

I always shoot RAW and process my photos in Photoshop. I like to be creative and have time to feel the edit. Sometimes I use Fuji Camera calibration profiles like ASTIA, PRO Negative or CLASSIC CHROME.

So How Fuji enhance my passion for photography? Simple, the key is in size. I feel more comfortable carrying it, my subjects are not afraid when I point a camera toward them. They seem to like this retro look of camera. So I can capture more natural reactions and emotions. Also I can shoot with low angles and had steady shots, and not to be notice when I capture some voyeuristic shots.

Now my photo bag is smaller then my girlfriend’s regular bag, and I carry it with myself all the time. Have nice photos and good light always!
