Fuji X-PRO2 in Kyoto, Japan
Hi, Fuji X Passion followers.
My name is Shingo Ohashi, I’m a photographer based in Kyoto, Osaka, Nara, Japan. I usually take photos of streets, portraits and animals. These days, I’d like to take pictures about the beauty of Japan.
And I usually use Fuji X-PRO2 and love it.
The camera achieved a high performance machine from X-PRO1.
Beautiful body design, shutter sound, high speed response to use, and image quality. I’m satisfied just being with it.
I say once again, I love X-PRO2.
We were in the rainy season in Japan a few months ago, which is called Tsuyu(梅雨) by the way. So it’s been rainy and cloudy day at that time. It continue about one month, however I like this season very much because I can take pictures different than sunny day.
The location is Nishi Hongan-ji Temple in Kyoto which is very close to Kyoto Station. It takes 10 minutes from Kyoto Station.
I ask you a question “What are you interested about in Japan?”
Kimono, Temples, Shrines, Mount of Fuji, japanese Castle, etc.
I want to add “seijaku(静寂)=silence” in the key words. It’s easy you can find it everywhere in Japan. For example inside of temples, shrines, reverbed, and countryside. Especially you can feel it strongly at the inside of the temples. This time I’ll show you one of the “Silence of Japan.”
Well, this is the inside of the temple. There was no sound. Around here it’s like “the silence world”.
The room was already dark at 3:30 p.m. but X-pro2 high performance camera was working at that time.
Amazingly the two pictures below was taken at ISO 10,000~12,800.
Conclusion
If you come to Japan and see “Silence of Japan”, you should visit the Kyoto area.
I hope you enjoy it.
“The Moment of Everything has stories. I can see them. I’m a storyteller photographer based in Kyoto, Osaka, Nara, in Japan. I usually take People, Animals and Landscapes. I’m going to add “Japan” to my photo theme from 2016. I will do what I want. That’s all.”
