Pixco manual focus lenses – another Chinese alternative for Fujifilm
When the budget is under careful consideration regarding new lenses for our Fujifilm cameras, the manual focus options could be a safe bet.
A lot of photographers are already using the great products from Samyang. Also, Laowa from Venus Optics is a good alternative, as Mitakon, Meike, or 7Artisans.
A new Chinese producer, under the name of “Pixco”, offers an ultra-wide fish-eye lens of 7.5mm and F2.8 for about 140 dollars, a new 60mm f2.8 lens and a macro extension tube. It is hard to beat the superb optics from Fujifilm, not to mention the comfort of having AF, but we are glad to see the range of possibilities that keeps extending, with more manual focus lenses at affordable prices, making Fujifilm photography more accessible.
