I don’t have the budget for a second camera. I’ve opted to use my X-T3 with the XF27mmF2.8 R WR lens as my daily camera.

That gold inlay on the font is spectacular…I kind of want to do that now…

I too have the X100V. I have a red button but like the gold touch. I have the silver / black camera so think I’ll have to stick with the original black / red font.
The camera is the best I’ve had. I’ve been through all the range of X100’s, Xe2 & 4, X-pro 1 & 2. Nothing comes close to the ease and range of use the ‘V’ provides in one nifty little package.
        Great overview btw

I wish we all had the opportunity to have an X100V, the out of stock, possibly never in stock again has raised the used prices to insane levels. I would love one for my X-T5 backup, using the 27 pancake is smallish but not pocketable as I’d like.

Hi, I came across this blog by chance and was immediately fascinated by how you perceive the world. I really like the Fujifilm brand, and I use it myself. The first Fujifilm camera I held in my hands was the X-T3 with a 24mm f/2 lens, and now I’ve decided on the X-T5 with an 18mm f/2 lens—and I’m very satisfied with it. I enjoy observing photographers and understanding how they view life through the lens, as well as their thought process when they press the shutter button. I know it’s a bit crazy what I’m writing, but, like many of you, my passion has completely consumed me.
Photography has always been something special to me. I still remember, back in my school days, I had a camera from my grandfather—haha, it was a Smena-3 analog camera. I still keep those photos, and every time I look at them, those wonderful memories come flooding back.
Okay, I won’t bore you any longer—I’m glad I stumbled upon your blog. Best regards, Jack.”
