Making friendships

Here at Fuji X Passion, we have the best readers in the world. But none of this would be possible without our wonderful collaborators, those who took the time to write each of the articles, stories, and reportage you read here on this website and magazine. Over the years, we have been honoured to collaborate with several hundreds of talented photographers, and you can believe we remember every single one of them.

Some have changed camera systems, and that’s okay. We continue to follow their work closely because the final results are what really matter. And we all have to look for the tool that best serves our needs, which may not be Fuji.

Some we got to meet in person. It’s true! How amazing is it to spend years talking to a person behind the screen and one day meet them?!

And some have become true friends. Those who tirelessly share with us all those articles they know we will appreciate. Those who send us a message just to ask how things are going, if we are in good health, and how our family is doing.

And one of those friends is Alwin Kok, an engineer by profession and a photographer by passion. One of the kindest and most generous people we know. He is genuinely passionate about photography in all its aspects and curious to try out all the new camera and lens releases, which he kindly shares with our readers.

As if that wasn’t enough, he surprised us by sending these two unique pieces from Singapore, custom-made cup holders, and CNC machined just for us!

We have no words to thank him. Yes, we have the best readers in the world, but that’s only because we have the best authors in the world! Our deepest gratitude to all of them.
