Winter Holidays 2016: Barcelona and Stuttgart
Quick getaway towards the sun
Two destinations for Christmas – Barcelona and Stuttgart! I started the Christmas season with a quick escape to Barcelona, for me, the best way to enjoy the sun in a short weekend. I love drinking mojitos in my t-shirt while it’s freezing at home. The street decoration is lovely here and the whole ambiance is unique.. Yummy tapas and drinks in hidden corners, coffee shops and don’t forget the prices of Zara, Mango etc which are the lowest here (because they are Spanish brands). Don’t forget my BCN food guide with some places I visited again this time.
As usual, first thing to do when in Barcelona, drink a mojito or two at Carabela Cafe!
Next drink at Schilling, love the Christmas lights in the windows.. You can find more about it in my Barcelona guide mentioned above.
The day after. Sun is shining!!
Favourite piece of the moment – this Urban Outfitters pink velvet mini skirt!
Breakfast at Cosmo Galeria (Also in the guide).
Here I opened my new Janette pochette to discover the products of the month, love this subscription goodie bag and its monthly surprises!
First time in this beautiful place – Park Güell ! Amazing playful architecture!
Time for a drink after the long day… —-> Boca Grande!
Boca Grande, a classy bar and restaurant with a spectacular interior..!! (and the most unique lavatory of the world). We came for their yummy cocktails. 🙂
Last coffee break before taking the plane… Satan’s Coffee Corner – a spot for coffee lovers.
Romantic Christmas Getaway in Stuttgart
Last weekend we had bus trip to Stuttgart with VOYAGES EMILE WEBER. Lovely Christmas ambiance, amazing musicals, a cool Irish Pub inside the hotel, big shopping centre with all imaginable fashion and beauty brands inside and nice historical corners in the heart of the city. Everything is organised for you by the travel agency, something I needed very much for once..
Christmas market with traditional German food.. 😀
Shopping time..
Discovering the city with a local guide. The woman told us many interesting and funny stories!
After meeting Batman, we went back to out hotel to watch the long awaited musical – Mary Poppins!
Amazing show.. I loved it so much and I even cried at the end when Mary flew away above our heads.. woooowww!!
Still in the same building we found an Irish Pub, very cool ambiance!
