Fujifilm vs Sony – APS-C battle

Although the internet offers detailed comparisons between the new Fujifilm X-H1 and Sony A7 series cameras, DigitalRev tried a new comparison: X-H1 versus Sony A6500. It might seem strange to compare these two models, but as both are equipped with an APS-C sensor, it could be a fair comparison, as every model from Sony A7 series has a Full-Frame sensor.

Among the most important specifications, we mention for X-H1 the 24 megapixel APS-C X-Trans CMOS III Sensor, the X-Processor Pro Engine, for the first time in a Fujifilm X camera the 5-Axis In-Body Image Stabilization, the Internal DCI 4K Video and F-Log Gamma.

For the Sony a6500, we notice the same size and resolution sensor as for Fujifilm, the BIONZ X Image Processor, the XGA Tru-Finder 2.36m-Dot OLED EVF 3.0″, an useful 921.6k-Dot Tilting Touchscreen LCD, great video capabilities with 4K Video & S-Log3 Gamma, also the presence of IBIS with 5-Axis SteadyShot INSIDE Stabilization, Built-In Wi-Fi with NFC and many other things, as Sony usually does.
